Baileys and Banana Bread and Butter

Ingredients:

½ loaf white bread, sliced and with crusts cut off

2oz butter

5oz caster sugar

Vanilla essence

8 eggs

18fl oz double cream

1 pint milk

4 tbsp flaked almonds, toasted

4 shots of Baileys

5 bananas

 

 

 

 

 

Method:

Butter bread slices and layer in a dish with bananas and almonds.

Make custard out of sugar, eggs, cream, milk and baileys and pour over the bread, banana and almonds.

Cook in 350°F/180°C/Gas Mark 4 oven for 35-40 minutes
